Sam Cloutier built his Morris Minor specifically for drifting.
Under the hood sits a turbocharged Nissan RB25DET NEO inline-six engine producing 400–500 horsepower.
The engine retains its factory internals but now features a reinforced head gasket and studs, a G30-660 turbocharger, and a Haltech Nexus R3 ECU.
The engine is paired with a six-speed T56 manual transmission and an R200 differential.
The entire setup is mounted in a completely custom chassis built specifically for the project, using front and rear subframes from a Nissan S13. The resulting wheelbase is 4.7 inches shorter than that of an S13.
The Morris Minor body is a composite of parts from three different variants of the model. The front end comes from a Ute pickup, the longer doors are from a coupe, and the rear half of the body is from a van that was originally used for bread delivery in Sam’s hometown of Toowoomba, Queensland.
All four corners wear 15-inch wheels from an R31 Skyline TI fitted with 195/55 tires.
